We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Hairdresser and a beauty expert with a passion for hairstyling and customer care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a wide range of hair and beauty services while ensuring a high level of hygiene, professionalism, and client engagement. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, working in a modern salon environment with access to quality tools and products.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Provide professional advice on hair care, suitable styles, and beauty products tailored to client needs.

- Perform shampooing and scalp conditioning treatments to prepare hair for cutting or styling.

- Apply hair colouring, chemical straightening, and permanent waving techniques.

- Cut, trim, and shape hair using scissors, clippers, and razors.

- Create and maintain styles including dreadlocks, braids, and extensions.

- Groom and shape beards and moustaches with precision.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas and tools, ensuring instruments are properly sanitised.

- Schedule and manage client appointments, process payments, and maintain customer records.

- Style, cut, colour, and maintain wigs and hairpieces when required.

- Assist in managing inventory by determining appropriate product mix and stock levels.

- Participate in the formulation of purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

Qualifications & experience

- Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification.

- 1-2 years experience in a salon or barber setting.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Passion for customer service and staying updated with trends.
