Streamline the Future: Technology Domain Owner – Simplification & Optimisation

This role will play a crucial part of the Digital Consumer Finance technology team, also supporting UNITE is about delivering 'one best way' to make our processes, systems and tech simpler so we can deliver a better experience for our customers and make things easier for our people.

What’s the role?

Westpac is seeking a strategic technology leader to drive simplification, optimisation, and performance across our enterprise landscape. AsTechnology Domain Owner, you’ll lead the design and governance of core systems within Digital Consumer Finance, ensuring tech investments deliver efficiency, scalability, and impact. This is a senior role where your vision will shape smarter, leaner, and more effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and grow a high-performing, diverse team with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Define and maintain a strategic technology roadmap aligned with business and customer needs.
- Oversee delivery of technical solutions with strong collaboration across product and engineering teams.
- Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards and modern engineering practices.
- Act as the key technology contact for business, compliance, operations and risk stakeholders.
- Manage third-party vendors in line with CTO strategy and enterprise goals.
- Champion emerging technologies to drive efficiency, growth and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and technology risk controls.
- Provide technical guidance and foster collaboration across domains and teams.
