We are currently looking for one experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our high-performing Packaging Team at Tooheys on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

This is a shift-based, weekly rotating position. The shift roster is between AM (6am – 2pm), PM (2pm – 10pm) and Night (10pm – 6am). You may also be required to work the 7-day roster during peak seasons.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing reliability of our packaging assets across our Tooheys Brewery. Working with an iconic brand, this role will support the delivery of production rates through minimising waste events related to machine efficiency on-site.

Responsibilities

- Provide maintenance support to the equipment on-site
- Develop specialist technical skills in equipment and use those for troubleshooting and improvements with production teams
- Work on some of the latest robotic and packaging technologies or sophisticated brewing processes
- Supervising contractors attending the site for equipment maintenance
- Champion a safety-first culture across the Brewery

Qualifications

- Any experience working on beverage, packaging, robotics or processing equipment would be highly regarded
- Decision-making in ambiguous situations
- Experience within brewing or manufacturing is highly desirable but not essential
