Both globally and in Australia, Palfinger provides superior technical support, parts availability and after sales service.We’re currently seeking an experienced **Hydraulic Mechanical Fitter** to join our workshop team in **Rydalmere.****Key Responsibilities*** Install and inspect new and used cranes and hook loaders* Fabricate and install subframes from design through to manufacture* Complete installations to Palfinger’s high standards* Perform service and maintenance on vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders* Accurately complete all job documentation* Maintain a safe working environment and follow site policies and procedures**What You’ll Bring*** Previous experience in a similar industry* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical or Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)* Experience working on heavy vehicles* Familiarity with cranes and/or hook loaders (advantageous)* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality* Excellent communication and teamwork skills* Proven ability to work safely and manage time effectively* Current driver’s licence (HR preferred)**What’s on Offer*** Competitive salary package* Access to employee benefits including discounts on groceries, electronics, and more* Annual health and wellbeing reimbursement program* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)* Monday to Friday roster* Supportive team culture**Please note:** The successful candidate must be able to pass a compulsory pre-employment medical, drugs and alcohol assessment.
