Overview

As a key member of the Financial Control team, you will be supporting the delivery of end-to-end financial control for Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services business which includes products such as Personal Banking, Business Banking, Payments and Deposits and Wealth.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for the business balance sheet and profit and loss activities including General Ledger close activities, accuracy of financial reporting and understanding key controls and judgements. You will provide technical accounting support for new business initiatives, such as new products or features, and have the opportunity to implement and monitor the financial control framework.

What you offer

- Tertiary degree in accounting or similar and CA/CPA qualified
- Experience within a financial control position
- Previous experience in financial services is valuable
- Technical accounting expertise and/or the ability to work with large operationally complex environment will be highly considered.
