Overview Full time fixed term position to commence in 2026. We are appointing a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher in our Early Learning Centre to join our dynamic team starting 2026 on a 12-month contract. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons, fostering a positive classroom culture, and supporting the holistic development of each child. Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and deliver engaging learning and teaching programs that cater to the diverse needs and characteristics of our students. - Build relationships and partnerships with students, parents/carers, fellow staff and the wider community through well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. - Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, evaluate and modify learning and teaching programs to create productive learning environments that engage all students. - Develop a culture of high expectations for all students by modelling and setting challenging learning goals. - Construct accurate, informative and timely reports to students and parents/carers about student learning and achievement. - Deal promptly and efficiently with requirements such as record keeping and the maintenance of student attendance and achievement information. - Attend student assemblies, worship and other activities as required. - Model effective practice and support colleagues to implement inclusive strategies that engage and support all students, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. - Follow and adhere to Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), National Quality Framework (NQF), National Early Childhood Education and Care regulations and Early Learning Centre policies and procedures. Key Selection Criteria - Willingness to be part of a well-established and collaborative team. - Proven classroom management and communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to contribute to the diverse extracurricular program of the College. - An active interest in and commitment to the education of young children. - Ability to conduct oneself in a way which develops personal respect, respect for the College and the teaching profession. Essential Qualifications - Current Queensland College of Teacher Registration. - Degree/Diploma qualifications relevant to the position.
