Quality Centre Food Services Pty Ltd

Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for managing key customers across our business. The long‑term relationship with the customer is critical to the success of the organisation, so wherever possible, the Sales Manager helps the customer to manage and develop their business. This requires a friendly and helpful manner with an astute knowledge of our products and services and the ability to be a team player.

Task & responsibilities

- Formulates and implements policies and plans:

- Develop and implement effective advertising, public relations, sales, and marketing strategies in collaboration with other departmental managers.

- Work closely with the leadership team to ensure alignment of marketing and sales initiatives with overall company goals.

- Organises and controls sales activities:

- Set and manage the product mix to optimise sales and profitability.

- Define geographical sales areas and customer service standards to enhance customer satisfaction.

- Implement and monitor sales performance metrics to achieve targets.

- Directs merchandising methods and distribution policy:

- Coordinate the activities of the sales team to ensure effective merchandising.

- Collaborate with agents and distributors to organize and streamline distribution policies.

- Monitor and improve merchandising methods to enhance product visibility and appeal.

- Directs sales methods and arrangements:

- Set competitive prices and credit arrangements to maximize sales while maintaining profitability.

- Provide guidance on effective sales methods and arrangements to the sales team.

- Regularly analyse market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Qualification & experience

- Relevant qualifications required.

- Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager in the premium food sector.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data.

- Creative and strategic thinking to develop effective marketing campaigns.

- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
