Our client is a boutique wealth manager, with institutional capability. Their advice team is one of the most highly regarded in the industry. Deep relationships with global asset managers, investment banks, research houses, and custodians means their clients access the very best services available.
As a CSA your primary responsibility will be to support the firm from a client-services perspective. Specifically, this will entail being responsible for the client-onboarding process and offering a high standard of client services experience for clients, both existing and prospective.
As part of a small and dynamic team though, responsibilities will also encompass various ad hoc duties, with a philosophy of contributing to organisational success in whatever capacity is most efficient. This would include assisting advisers directly in the advice process and attending fund manager meetings and everything in-between.
Importantly, this role explicitly presents a pathway opportunity to move into an Associate Advisor position and ultimately a full advisor position- however our client they are also open to a career CSA to supportthe team and growth of the firm.
On a day-to-day basis, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Booking client meetings, and scheduling investment reviews.
- Liaising with third party advisors, such as accountants, lawyers, or consultants.
- Working closely with the Portfolio Analyst team, to plan for proposals and reviews.
- Having oversight over trade placement, follow up and settlement.
- Managing cash transfers, such as regular payments or capital calls.
- Onboarding new clients and contributing to an excellent service experience.
- Responding to inbound client requests and resolving these with urgency.
- Designing, implementing, and improving client service processes.
- Working closely with Senior Advisers/Partners of the firm within the advice process.
- Updating and maintaining client files and documentation.
- Support the office environment including meeting room preparation
- Assist with marketing related activities including preparation and attending client events.
Experience/Qualifications Sought:
- Tertiary qualifications in finance or related fields
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within Wealth Management
- Fantastic personal skills and communication, both written and spoken
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
