Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) is seeking a passionate and experienced Dermatologist to join our team at John Hunter Hospital, providing high-quality specialist care across the lower Hunter region.
About the Role
As a Visiting Medical Officer in Dermatology, you will play a key role in delivering contemporary, comprehensive, and patient‑centred specialist services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll manage a wide range of dermatological conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inpatient and outpatient dermatology care
- Diagnostic and procedural services
- Telehealth consultations
- Participation in the dermatology emergency roster
- Clinical supervision and teaching
- Contribution to research and education initiatives
You are a dedicated and skilled dermatologist who brings:
- A primary medical degree registered with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Australian College of Dermatology.
- A strong commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and research.
- Proven experience delivering dermatology care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
