About the Opportunity

The Team Leader Intake and Early Resolution is responsible for coordinating and guiding the Intake team in the efficient triage, assessment, and early resolution of non-complex complaints, ensuring high-quality and responsive customer service for OmbudsmanSA.

The role oversees staff performance, manages challenging complainant behaviours, and implements effective business practices to improve workflow, reduce duplication, and maintain accurate data in the case management system. It also involves preparing reports and correspondence, ensuring quality assurance, and identifying emerging issues for proactive engagement.

The Team Leader contributes to continuous business improvement, supports staff development, and upholds the public accountability and operational efficiency of the organisation.

About the Business

Ombudsman SA is an independent body that investigates complaints regarding South Australian government and local government agencies, conducts audits of these agencies, reviews freedom of information determinations of these agencies, supports the implementation of the Information Sharing Guidelines across government, and receives information about state and local government activities confidentially from whistleblowers.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
