About the role
As an Experienced Underground Truck Operator/Nipper, you’ll be a key player in our underground mining team, supporting both Development and Production cycles.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Operating underground dump trucks and heavy diesel equipment
- Supporting Jumbo Operators with ground support installation
- General mine services and housekeeping
- Identifying and managing safety hazards
You’ll report to theMining Shift Supervisorand work closely with a range of stakeholders including Foremen, Superintendents, Technical Services, and Maintenance teams.
About you
You’re not just experienced—you’re safety-conscious, mechanically minded, and ready to make a difference underground.
What you’ll bring:
- Currently residing or willing to relocate to Kalgoorlie (at own costing)
- A validmanual Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 6 months of underground mining experience
- Valid RPL's from your previous employer
- Strong knowledge of underground truck operations
- Solid understanding of safe work procedures
- Good communication and observation skills
- Familiarity with JSA and Take 5 systems
