Role Description
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage project activities, inputs, and outputs in accordance with Department practices, methods, and standards.
2. Lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives. Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
3. Identify and manage risks and opportunities, incorporating them into planning, decision-making, and priority setting.
4. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, team members, and other partners, using influencing and negotiation skills.
5. Analyze project performance, develop strategies to achieve outcomes, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
6. Develop, maintain, and prepare project documents, reports, and submissions, including those for higher delegates and committees.
7. Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
8. Hold AIPM CPPM and/or CPSPM Certification.
9. Possess one or more of the following:
- Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
- Diploma of Project Management
- Advanced Diploma of Project Management
Required Knowledge, Experience, and Tools
- 3+ years of project-related experience and/or experience as a Project Manager.
- Ability to apply project management methodologies and practices, e.g., Prince2 and PMBOK.
- Proficiency in using project management tools.
