Job Description

The Senior Tax and Finance Advisor will be responsible for the following but not be limited to:

- Preparation of the Consolidated income tax return

- Manage transfer pricing compliance

- Manage GST compliance

- Manage the preparation and lodgement of the FBT return

- Monitoring Australian tax instalments and other tax payment requirements

- Manage the tax reporting requirements including preparation of periodic tax calculations

- Preparation of on-going Shareholder reporting obligations

- Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office, to manage tax related issues

- Tax advisory: Advise on tax structures, tax implications for potential M&A etc.

- Prepare tax technical papers as required

- Ad hoc project work

The Successful Applicant

The Individual should have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Professional tax qualifications or equivalent experience.

- Experience in a similar role

- CPA, CA, CTA or relevant qualification

- Strong communication skills

- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software and tax preparation tools.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

- Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
