As a Senior Accounting Manager reporting to the VP Global Controller in our Finance team, your purpose will be to help oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic financial insights to support the company's growth objectives. You'll play a crucial role in leading financial reporting, streamlining processes, and developing a high-performing accounting team within a fast-paced, scaling environment. Specifically, your scope will include:
- Leading financial reporting and compliance: Preparing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US and Polish GAAP, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and coordinating external audits.
- Overseeing accounting operations: Managing daily operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, and supervising month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Providing strategic financial management: Offering financial analysis to support decision-making, collaborating on forecasts and budgets, and identifying key financial metrics.
- Leading and developing the accounting team: Mentoring team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering continuous improvement.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, combined with CPA or CMA certification.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and proven experience in financial reporting and compliance.
- Experience working in a fast-growth organization within a related industry (SaaS, Marketplace, or broader tech).
- Demonstrated experience in scaling businesses and managing accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems, including ERP systems.
