Your Role – Build Belonging Through Community Access
As a Community Access Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in helping clients engage with their local community, build friendships, and participate in activities that matter to them. Whether it's going to the gym, visiting the library, attending appointments, or exploring new hobbies — you’ll help make it possible.
Your Day May Include:
Supporting clients to attend social and recreational outings
Assisting with shopping, travel training, or community group activities
Encouraging skill-building and greater independence
Supporting personal care and health needs as required
Following positive behaviour support plans
Working flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, late nights, and public holidays
About You
You’re a people-person who thrives on helping others feel included and confident in the world around them. You’re active, compassionate, and love creating positive social opportunities.
You’ll Bring:
A genuine passion for inclusion and community connection
Experience in disability support or a related care role (highly valued)
Confidence to work independently while supporting client goals
Flexibility to work across locations and a variety of shifts
A valid NSW Driver’s Licence (essential)
Willingness to provide personal care when required
Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
