Overview

We are seeking to establish a pool of Teachers – Education Support for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking highly motivated Education Support Teachers with expertise in developing individualised programs catering for academic, social-emotional and behaviour goals. Responsibilities include developing strategies for all students to access a differentiated curriculum, working collaboratively within the school to provide an inclusive educational environment, and providing additional support for individual students and their learning needs. A high level of interpersonal skills is desirable to foster positive relationships and maintain networks with colleagues, parents and external providers. Experience with WA Curriculum and differentiated assessment tools to inform progress, provide feedback and drive learning is preferred. Prior experience in developing individualised documented plans using Special Educational Needs (SEN) planning is desirable. Knowledge of ASDAN ABLESWA, Community Access and travel training and Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI) for Literacy and Numeracy would be highly advantageous.

Qualifications and Preferences

- Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum

- Experience with assessment tools and providing constructive feedback

- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff and the school community

- Willingness to embrace ongoing professional development

- Experience with SEN planning and differentiated instruction is desirable

- Knowledge of ASDAN ABLE SWA, ASSESSMENTS and EDI-related literacy and numeracy strategies is advantageous
