Rostering & Allocations Lead – Port Stephens

We are looking for a Rostering & Allocations Lead to join the team at NewHorizons on a Full Time basis. The position is located at our SIL homes in Port Stephens. The role will support our Rostering Team and report to the Allocations & Rostering Lead.
What Is Expected of You
- Create employee rosters to maximise capacity whilst balancing employee preferences and needs.
- Conduct profitability assessments for Group Events and confirm all employees, including casual staff, are notified of shift changes.
- Create allocations for customer bookings and job items in the system to availableresources and staff.
- Schedule and update bookings for vehicles, meeting spaces and other resources for Group Events and other services in line with rostered sessions and allocations.
- Liaise with third parties to arrange bookings for appointments (e.g. therapy suppliers, medical providers etc.) on behalf of New Horizons' customers.
You are
- Experience and expertise in operational rostering, scheduling, risk identification and management and customer support planning.
- Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
- Customer-centric values, ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective communication and able to adapt communication strategies to different stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing processes, system & workflow.
What you need to have
- Australian Federal Police Check from the last 6 months
- Work Rights – Birth Certificate or Passport
- NDIS Worker Screening Check - https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/ndiswc
- NSW Working with Children check
- COVID-19 Vaccination in line with Health Orders
At New Horizons we offer salary packaging up to $15,900.00 pa, and an entertainment allowance of $2,650.00. Monthly RDO for Full-time roles, Wellbeing Initiative Partnership for our Employees.
