Overview

Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Officer to lead and support infrastructure planning and asset management improvement activities within a large, values-driven public sector environment. You’ll provide high-level advice to stakeholders across schools, regional teams and corporate areas while contributing to the design, review and implementation of programs, policies and systems that enhance client-centric facilities services.

- Rate: Circa $76.00 per hour + super
- Location: Brisbane, QLD
- Contract Length: 2 years

Key responsibilities

Undertake research, analysis and evaluation to enable business improvements across infrastructure, planning and asset management programs.

- Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to formulate practical solutions aligned to recognised quality standards.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to embed consistent, best-practice processes.
- Provide high-level advice, information and support on infrastructure and portfolio management issues with a strong client focus.
- Prepare ministerial responses, reports, submissions and briefings, synthesising complex information clearly and accurately.
- Coordinate team operational activities and manage competing priorities to meet program timeframes.

Prerequisites & desirables

- Demonstrated experience delivering analysis and improvement initiatives in infrastructure planning, asset management or facilities services.
- Proven capability to work in project teams and drive continuous improvement against deadlines and service standards.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable advice.
- High-level research, analytical and reporting skills, including preparation of briefs and submissions.
- Understanding of public sector governance requirements and information management practices (desirable).
