About the position

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high‑level administrative and executive support to the General Manager Planning & Development.

- This is a permanent full‑time position, located in the Toowoomba CBD.
- The salary range for this position is $86,949.78 to $92,927.77 gross per annum plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

How to be successful:

To be successful in this position, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Highly Experienced:

Extensive administration experience with the ability to provide executive support and prepare agendas, minutes, reports and correspondence. Well‑developed computer skills, with the ability to adapt to new computer applications.

Effective Communicator:

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders and provide accurate and timely advice in a helpful and supportive manner. The ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.

Highly Organised:

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to undertake inbox and diary management, while planning and organising own work to meet agreed performance and service standards.

Results Focused:

Demonstrated ability to enhance work processes and support management with the improvement and maintenance of staff culture and morale.

Values Driven:

Demonstrated alignment with Council’s organisational values, particularly the value of teamwork.
