About the Role:

Public Sector People are currently recruiting for an AO4 Project Support Officer for a State Government department located on the Sunshine Coast. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-level administrative support to a dynamic project team delivering key public transport infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-level administrative support to the project team, including diary and email management for senior leaders.
- Coordinate meetings and provide full secretariat support, including minute-taking and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records and support information management processes.
- Manage and update project spreadsheets, databases, stakeholder registers and correspondence logs.
- Collate and report on key project data, including budget, schedule, and resource usage.
- Prepare professional correspondence and documentation using Microsoft Office suite.
- Ensure administrative practices align with departmental policies and procedures.
- Support effective communication and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform additional tasks relevant to the role's competency level as required.

About You:

- Strong background in administration, executive support, or project support roles.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with proven attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and information management systems.

Desirable:

- Current Class C driver's licence.
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects.
