Job Description

This permanent, full - time opportunity offers hands on expeirence in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: Laidley, QLD

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

- Before School Care: 6:00am to 9:00am

- After School Care: 2:15pm to 6:30pm

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

Responsibilities

- Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies.

- Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.

- Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.

- Play and have FUN with primary school aged children.

- Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.

The Successful Candidate

- ✅ Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you

- ✅ Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart

- ✅ Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.

- ✅ You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.

- ✅ Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.

- ✅ Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN

- ✅ Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
