As a Studio Assistant Educator, there will never be a typical day. Through our play-based learning philosophy, we are constantly reminded of what a wonderous world we live in. You could go from singing Johnny works with One Hammer to a magician or gardener. Of course, you will still be responsible for all of the compliance-based tasks like safety checks, communicating with families, recording children’s progress, routines, and interests—but all while creating a safe supportive space where children thrive.

Sparrow Early Learning Bayswater is a warm and caring setting where children can inquire, investigate, and learn whilst being supported by the caring and qualified educators. Local schools, shops, and transport are all within walking distance of the centre, which is located in a quiet suburban street with a horseshoe-shaped driveway for easy drop-off and pickup.

What you’ll need:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

- Experience in engaging with young children in creative and imaginative ways.

- Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

- Current & Valid Working with Children Check

- First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
