As an Account Executive - ANZ, you'll be responsible for leading our expansion into the Australian and New Zealand markets. The ideal candidate is an experienced field sales professional with deep channel partner relationships and a proven track record of building territories from the ground up. You'll be responsible for establishing and growing our presence across Australia through strategic channel partnerships whilst driving direct enterprise sales.

What You'll Do:

- Build and execute go-to-market strategy for Australia and New Zealand, establishing Rhombus as the leading intelligent security platform
- Identify, recruit, and develop strategic channel partnerships with security integrators, technology resellers, and systems integrators across Australia
- Manage complex sales cycles with mid-market and enterprise customers, from initial prospecting through contract negotiation and closure
- Conduct on-site meetings, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept deployments across major Australian cities
- Provide strategic feedback on local market conditions, competitive landscape, and product requirements specific to Australian regulations and standards
- Consistently exceed ambitious sales targets whilst building sustainable pipeline for long-term territory growth
- Work closely with global Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams as the voice of the Australian market

What We're Looking For:

- 5+ years of B2B field sales experience with security tech, IoT, or enterprise software solutions
- Proven channel expertise with established relationships across Australian security integrators, resellers, and partners
- Successful track record launching and scaling new markets or products
- Experience managing SMB–Enterprise sales cycles ($10K–$250K+ AUD) with C-level stakeholders
- Deep understanding of Australian market dynamics, procurement processes, and business culture
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and product demo skills to close complex deals
- Ability to cover major markets (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth) with some travel to New Zealand
- Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), sales tools, and virtual meeting platforms
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial to work independently while contributing to global team objectives

Bonus Points:

- Understanding of Australian privacy laws, security standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience in physical security, video surveillance, or access control
- Existing relationships with top security integrators and distributors
- Background with US-based tech companies expanding into APAC
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

Location & Travel
This is a field-based position covering Australia and New Zealand. Candidates must be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with regular travel required throughout the territory. International travel to US headquarters for training and team meetings will be required at least 2 times per year.
Compensation
Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 USD
Estimated OTE: $140,000 - $160,000 USD
Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include uncapped commission, sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
