About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experiencedCasualChefto oversee the kitchen and meal preparationatBethanie Fields Aged Care Home. You willalso have the opportunity to work atBethanie'sDalyellup and Elanora Aged Care Homes, also on a casualbasis.
Casual shifts will be from 9am - 5pm Monday through toSunday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals on site, including orderingfood.
- Create appetising and nutritious meals using freshingredients.
- Train and manage a small team.
- Cater to special dietary requirements.
- Manage catering for small functions.
- Ensure food safety compliance.
About You:
- Experience as a Chef for large groups, ideally in aged careor similar environments.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Ability to supervise staff.
- Experience in ordering food and waste management.
- Knowledge of the Food Act and Food Standards Code.
- Willingness to uphold Bethanie's values and obtain relevantvaccinations.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness toapply).
