POSITION DESCRIPTION

HillSide Christian College is seeking applications for Relief Education Assistants to fill ad hoc and short-term relief positions as they arise. Successful applicants will be practicing evangelical Christians who can provide effective classroom support and positively contribute to a team environment. All relief staff must accept the College's Code of Conduct, including the Statement of Faith, and meet all compliance requirements.

Applicants should demonstrate their personal faith in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour and be active members of an evangelical Christian Church. Successful applicants will have a desire to work within a Christian team setting and support teaching from a Christian worldview.

The application must include:

1. Cover letter outlining suitability for a secondary relief teaching role within HillSide Christian College (maximum two pages)
2. Current CV detailing qualifications, church membership, professional referees, contact details, and career history
3. A written reference from a Pastor/Elder or contact details of a Pastor/Elder for a verbal reference regarding the applicant's Christian faith, character, and practice
4. Copies of all qualifications and compliance documents listed below:

- A current Working with Children Card (WWCC) or willingness to apply
- A current Police Clearance or willingness to apply

Interviews and referee checks are part of the selection process.

When requested, applicants will need to provide:

- Birth Certificate, Passport, Visa Grant, or VEVO document to confirm right to work in Australia
- Photographic identification
- Copies of all qualifications
