About the Radiology Department

As the Clerical Team leader, you will work collaboratively with the Administration Manager to ensure the effective management of the administration functions. This position is based across two Austin Health sites, the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and the Austin Hospital, and a variety of shifts are worked on a rotational basis.

A regular day will see you:

- Assist with administrative tasks and the organisation and management of admin staff, including rostering requirements, planning for leave and arranging job rotation
- Perform and overs daily reception functions to ensure that patients are booked, arrived and attended to promptly, efficiently and courteously
- Update clerical work practice standards, associated documentation, workflows and standard operating procedures

About you

You will be a dynamic, vibrant and patient focussed team member, who enjoys showing a caring attitude towards both your team and the community we serve. You will have excellent communication skills and strong general administrative skills, having gained relevant experience by working previously in a hospital or busy medical practice

You’ll further bring with you:
