As an Enrolled Nurse, you will bring your fantastic customer-facing skills and passion to deliver an exceptional service, while working together to ensure Australia’s supply of blood products.

Key Details

- Permanent Part-Timeopportunity - 32.00hours per fortnight

- Varied shifts across a rotating roster - Monday to Saturday (including afternoons, and weekends)

- Located at Maitland Donor Centre, New South Wales

- Salary starting from $36.60 per hour + Penalties (if applicable) + Super + Salary Packaging and more

Daily Activities

- Greet and interview potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability to donate

- Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests

- Set up machines, various tubing and collection bags

- Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood and plasma

- Coach and guide other team members in the blood collection process

- Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance

- Monitor donors post-donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Occasionally lift between 9-22.7kgs

- Frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products

- Utilise your expertise having completed a Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) and hold a current AHPRA registration

- Be flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
