Looking for a harvest driving role where every day is different? Join a professional contracting team in the heart of the Darling Downs and start the harvest trail south. Based just 10 minutes from Cecil Plains, QLD, this role places you in the heart of the Darling Downs to kick off harvest - a renowned cropping region with fertile black soil plains. Our client operates a trusted earthmoving and harvesting contracting business, servicing local & interstate farms with modern machinery and reliable expertise.

This casual harvest role reports directly to the business owner/harvest manager and will see you working alongside experienced operators across a range of client properties from the Downs to Goondiwindi and as far south as Coonamble, New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Operate HC Mack R Series truck with single grain tipper for on-farm grain movements.
- Transport grain from header to on-farm storage (no town trips).
- Assist with moving prime mover and comb trailers as required (including Coonamble run).
- Work as part of the crew, living onsite during harvest period.

Selection Criteria

- Current HC Truck Licence and demonstrated safe driving record.
- Previous harvest or agricultural truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work long hours in a team environment during peak season.
- Reliable, adaptable, and willing to live onsite with crew.

Additional Particulars

- Casual contract role - Mid-September to late November (weather dependent).
- Accommodation and all meals provided onsite.
- Hourly remuneration to be negotiated with successful applicant.
