Your Venue - ZA ZA TA

Encounter the Exotic.

ZA ZA TA is a place where worlds and cultures collide amongst a sprawling, colonial backdrop and buzzing open kitchen focused on ethical eating and conscious cuisine. Executive Chef Michael Jackson (ex-NuNu Restaurant – Palm Cove) and the team are bringing the soulful vibe of Tel Aviv, a blend of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, with a distinctly modern twist to centuries-old flavours. Our Kitchen is spearheaded by our Executive Chef Michael Jackson (ex-NuNu Restaurant – Palm Cove).

The Gig

As our Kitchen Attendant you will be the backbone of our Kitchen operation during Breakfast service. You will ensure that each and every service kicks off with just the right amount of preparation, a spick n’ span Kitchen, and dishes and utensils that sparkle. You are a go-getter who receives our goods and ensures they are in mint condition. And are always on hand to ensure that the Kitchen maintains its groove by identifying exactly what’s needed. This is a Casual role, operating 7 days a week. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Hygienically clean crockery, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen equipment using both commercial dishwashers and by hand

- Assist line cooks by completing food preparation tasks

- Maintain the order and cleanliness of the kitchen’s facilities up to government and company sanitation standards

- Ensure sure that all appliances and cooking equipment are properly used and maintained

You will assist the kitchen team in ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and ensure that all F&B outlets are provided with clean and sanitized operating equipment.
