Hiring for Logistics Technician – Afternoon Shift (Sunday to Thursday). The site operates between 5:00 am and 11:30 pm.

Slade is an innovative and diverse provider of both pharmacy and compounding services. For over 50 years, it has been providing specialised pharmacy services, including the preparation of sterile compounded preparations for use by patients in hospitals.

Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA-licensed manufacturing facilities based in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Auckland (NZ). We produce aseptically compounded pharmaceutical products such as chemotherapy drugs, total parenteral nutrition and analgesics.

About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a Logistics Technician to work at our Geebung facility. This is a full-time permanent role with hours Sunday 10:30 am to 6:30 pm and Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Hours to be confirmed upon commencement.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensuring orders are properly packaged and consigned on time and in full.

- Ensuring the prompt delivery of all finished goods in line with the daily schedule.

- Tending to customer requirements and general administration duties.

- Maintain inventory accuracy and housekeeping within the facility.

- Process inbound deliveries, unloading delivery vehicles.

- Deliver stock to customers in the designated Metropolitan Area when required.

About You

- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a stock control and/or supply role is desirable but not essential.

- Good attention to detail.

- Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.

- Ability to communicate and problem solve effectively.

- Minimum 4 years driving experience.

- Current valid driver's licence.

Candidates will also be required to undertake a Police Record & Reference check. A pre-employment medical which includes a supervised drug test and a Police Record check will also be undertaken.
