We are an Australian owned, family business and industry leader in the car park & road safety products. We have been supplying and installing to the construction industry for the last 10 year.
We are currently looking for a well experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join our team, who is able to bring their knowledge and experience and implement new policies and procedures for a more efficient operation.
Reporting to the General Manager & Director you will be required to, but not limited to:
**Duties**
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Receiving inwards goods including container unloading
- Inventory Management
- Inventory rotation and internal stock management
- Operating High Reach Forklift
- Warehouse housekeeping, maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workplace
- Load and unloading of vehicles using forklift
- Booking in couriers
- Delivering stock to customers or employees
- Completing Stocktake on a regular basis
- Enforce Safe work place practices
- Manage Tools register and ensure tagging is up to date
- Arrange servicing/ maintenance for equipment
- Cutting & Drilling to assist Production Team as required
- Maintenance & small installations as required
**To be considered for this role, you are expected to**:
- Forklift License required
- Valid Australian Drivers License required
- Minimum 3 years+ Warehousing experience
- Hand & Power Tool competency advantageous
- Must be physically fit, in order to undertake manual work including heavy lifting
- Professional phone manner and customer relation skills
- Good communication and organization skills
- Be a team player, who can also work unsupervised
- Must be reliable, punctual and available to work reasonable overtime when required
- Be self-motivated and have a can-do attitude.
The role is based in Somerton VIC and your hours would be Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm. Overtime will be available during busy periods.
