The Workshop Industrial Painter is responsible for painting various structures and surfaces in the workshop area of John Valves. Your primary role is to apply protective coating or decorative finishes to surfaces such as machinery, equipment, valves, etc. You must be a highly organized and motivated individual. Holding a current driver's license and forklift license is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cleaning and preparing surfaces
- All required preparation for painting
- Utilizing the sand and bead blaster
- Mixing and applying paint
- Final inspection after completing the coating
- Cleaning paint equipment and work area
- Maintaining equipment
- Maintaining a safe and clean workspace
- Other duties as required during the operation of the business
- Communicating effectively in verbal and written forms
- Working cooperatively and respectfully with others from various backgrounds and cultures
- Being flexible and adaptable, with the ability to problem-solve and multi-task
- Working unsupervised and under pressure
- Leading by example and working as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow through
- Fostering a trusting, inclusive, and mutually supportive environment, treating each individual with dignity, integrity, and respect
- Contributing to a culture that promotes safety and wellbeing of all employees
