Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Engagements: Partner with senior client stakeholders to design and deliver actionable strategies. Define roadmaps, perform maturity assessments, and align transformation initiatives to business goals.
- Deliver Client Impact: Shape high-value outcomes across a range of transformation programs whether advising on operating models, enterprise architecture, defining roles and responsibilities, or implementing best practice methodologies.
- Engagement and Thought Leadership: Facilitate workshops, author compelling deliverables, and present recommendations to senior decision-makers that influence with thought leadership and insight.
- Team Leadership: Contribute to practice development through knowledge sharing and mentoring. Lead cross‑functional teams in the delivery of meaningful change and results.
- Project Oversight: Manage and deliver client projects ensuring high standards of delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Develop and Implement Governance Frameworks: Design and deliver governance structures, policies, and procedures that promote quality, compliance, and accountability.
- Architect Enterprise Solutions: Guide the design of scalable, resilient, and future‑ready business and enterprise architecture that aligns business, data, application, and technology pillars to drive organisational strategic objectives, reducing complexity and enhancing operational efficiency.
Working Conditions
- Employment Type – Permanent full time
- Office Location – Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra
- Travel Opportunities – Occasional national business travel.
What will make you successful in this role?
- At least 10–15 years of experience in management consulting or senior project advisory roles, with a strong focus on digital strategy, operating model, operational transformation, enterprise architecture and strategic planning.
- You have a proven track record of helping clients identify and achieve measurable improvements in areas such as operational efficiency, cost reduction, business performance, and process optimisation.
- Strong track record in leading transformation initiatives in complex environments.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, team leadership and advisory skills from C‑suite to delivery teams.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to perform strategic analysis aligned with corporate objectives.
- A passion for shaping meaningful change through strategy, structure and scalable solutions.
- Proven ability to quickly build rapport and grow client relationships to establish a strong network in the market, particularly in roles involving both operational and digital advisory.
- Experience in a leadership role emphasizing the capability to manage high‑performing consulting teams, grow and develop junior team members into future leaders, and drive a culture of continuous learning.
- Be quick to adapt to changing market conditions and be comfortable navigating complex client landscapes to identify and pursue new business opportunities and to build a sales pipeline.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, QGEA, AGA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Management, Business or a related field. Post‑graduate qualifications would be advantageous.
- Experience across diverse industry sectors such as government, finance, health or utilities.
- Certifications in project or program management and enterprise architecture.
- Federal Government security clearance preferred (baseline or NV1).
