Employment Details

Employment Type: Permanent Part‑time (multiple opportunities)

Hours: From 48 to 60 per fortnight

Who Are We?

CareSouth is a passionate, community‑driven organisation dedicated to supporting children, young people, families, and individuals. We offer a range of services including early intervention, foster care, NDIS support, and youth services, all aimed at fostering independence and building brighter futures. Your Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate, client‑centred support within a trauma‑informed framework. Your responsibilities will include providing social engagement, mentoring, transportation, and supervision to the young people in our care. You will implement clinically guided support plans and work closely with caseworkers, therapeutic providers, and clinical staff to help create and maintain a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in young people’s lives, supporting their journey towards healing, independence, and a brighter future.

Qualifications

- A Diploma in Community Services or another relevant discipline, or currently studying towards completion, or willing to enrol.

- Experience and understanding of trauma‑informed practice and therapeutic care.

- Resilience, patience, and at times a sense of humour all rolled into one.

- Availability for a variety of shifts, including weekend and sleep‑over shifts.

- Genuine desire and commitment to be the difference in young people’s lives.
