Details: Infrastructure Planning and Technical Studies is a technically focused team within the Development and Implementation (D&I) division of City and Environment Directorate (CED).
We are looking for a highly motivated person to work in our team as a permanent IO3 project manager.
Please see the attached Position Description for a glimpse of what you will be doing, and the Selection Criteria against which applications will be assessed. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a good understanding of infrastructure networks (transportation, water and sewer, electricity etc), procurement, project management and stakeholder engagement.
You will have an enquiring and analytical mind, be open to diverse solutions and be a good communicator.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: This is an Infrastructure Officer (IO) role so you will need to satisfy IO criteria (these are included in the Position Description).Generally, to meet these criteria you must have a tertiary degree in an infrastructure-related field (such as engineering), or commensurate experience.The IO pay scale seeks to reward those seeking a technically focused career path and also recognition that infrastructure plays a vital role in the development of our city.
Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill similar vacancies over the next 12 months.
Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
