About the Role:

Join Forensicare as a Senior Intake Clinician and play a pivotal role in ensuring timely, safe, and appropriate access to our community programs. You’ll be the central point for referrals, applying advanced clinical judgment and risk assessment to manage complex cases. This autonomous role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver recovery-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and triage referrals using a structured risk-need-urgency matrix.

- Provide expert consultation to internal and external stakeholders.

- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards.

- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

- Current registration with AHPRA (Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy) or AASW eligibility for Social Work.

- Minimum 5–7 years post-registration experience in mental health or forensic practice.

- Advanced understanding of forensic mental health principles and relevant legislation.

- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
