Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking an Early Childhood Casual Assistant (Qualified) to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children in our community.

Salary & Benefits:

- $64,000 to $69,000 per annum (depending on experience)+ Superannuation.
- 5 weeks of Annual Leave
- Remote Area Housing Assistance ($60 per week for Renting / $90 per week for Homeowner)
- Rostered Days Off (RDOs)
- Personal (Sick) Leave.

In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and assessment of programs designed to meet the individual and collective needs of children at various stages of development. You will work closely with educators, ensuring adherence to Curry Kids and Council policies, procedures, standards, and legislation while actively contributing to the Quality Improvement and Accreditation processes.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, recording, and evaluating individual children's activities while providing feedback to the Group Leader to enhance care and program effectiveness. You will also maintain open communication with parents regarding their children’s developmental needs and interests, encouraging their participation in programs, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children through diligent supervision.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Additionally, you should have current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis Certificates, or the ability to acquire them before commencement, as well as a current Positive Notice Working with Children Blue Card and a police clearance.
