Civmec is excited to announce that we have been awarded the Concrete and Field Erect Tanks Package for the Iluka Rare Earth Refinery. This is a civil scope of works that kicked started in May 2025 with project completion scheduled for early 2026. The scope includes excavating, formworks, reinforcement, final trim and back fill.

This project is based in Eneabba (about 274km north of Perth, W.A) and offers a 2:1 roster to all personnel, offering better work-life balance to our employees. Transportation to and from site is provided from Perth Airport.

The Role

- Undertake detailed Excavation
- Trim Batters and Benches
- Condition Material for Backfill
- Trim to laser Level
- Conduct excavation and trimming with GPS
- Trim for levels and tight tolerances
- Excavate and backfill service trenches
- Embankment construction
- Material collection, loading, unloading and deliveries
- Perform other general duties as required

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

- Relevant licences to operate multiple mobile plant including: Bobcat/skid steer, Telehandler, Water truck, Loader, Telehandler, Final Trim Excavator
- HR Licence preferred
- 2 + years’ experience operating mobile plant machinery and ability to pass VOC’s
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
