Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation + Performance Bonuses.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the front‑of‑house team and oversee operations at our Brighton‑Le‑Sands venue. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a hands‑on approach, and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Task & responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all trading hours.
- Lead, train, and supervise front‑of‑house staff to uphold exceptional customer service standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain product consistency, food presentation, and quality.
- Oversee inventory management, supplier coordination, and cost control measures.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Plan and execute staff rosters and manage labour costs in line with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and licensing regulations.
- Support promotional campaigns and special events to increase revenue and customer engagement.
Qualification & experience
- You have a genuine passion for hospitality and take pride in creating memorable dining experiences.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within a busy restaurant, ideally in Indian or multicultural cuisine.
- Strong understanding of Indian dishes, traditional spices, and service etiquette, with the ability to guide guests through the menu confidently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills with a warm and professional approach.
- Experience managing both dine‑in and takeaway operations, ensuring consistency in service quality and efficiency.
- Proficiency in POS systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook (experience with ordering or stock systems highly regarded).
- Current RSA certification and full Australian working rights.
- Completion of formal Hospitality or Management qualifications is preferred, but we value hands‑on experience, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to excellence.
