Unit/Division: Fiona Stanley Hospital > Nursing and Midwifery Education Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group (FSFHG) is seeking a suitably experienced and skilled individual to appoint as a Nurse Director - Education and Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible to: - lead strategic professional practice innovation and education programs consistent with corporate objectives and provide advanced coordination, integration and direction to optimise nursing and midwifery practice and services across the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group (FSFHG). - collaborate with FSFHG Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services and Nurse Directors to lead ongoing development of an nursing and midwifery practice model and standards of care across the FSFFHG - ensure current and future education nursing and midwifery workforce needs are met, designed and delivered upon through strategic leadership and direction for the FSFHG Nurse and Midwife Education Service. This is a permanent full time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight. FSH is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
