Disability Support Workers – Gold Coast
Right at Home – Supporting Independence, Choice & Quality Care

About the Role
Right at Home is seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our Gold Coast team. We provide in-home support services that empower people with disability to live independently and enjoy a fulfilling life.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, community inclusion, and personal choice. You’ll work closely with clients, families, and our care team to support individual needs and goals.

Shifts

Shifts available: Gold Coast region, with an average of 6–30 hours per week. Services are generally between 6am–6pm Monday to Friday, with passive sleepover shifts available.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities.

- Assist with mobility, manual handling, and exercise routines.

- Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities.

- Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.

- Implement behaviour support strategies, including restrictive practices when required.

- Document care provided and follow individual service plans.

- Collaborate with families, carers, and professionals to support client goals.

What You’ll Need

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability).

- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.

- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Module Certificate.

- Police Clearance.

- Open Australian Driver’s Licence with comprehensive Insurance

- Reliable vehicle.

- Valid working rights in Australia.

- Smartphone with internet access.
