Mindarie SC is seeking a dynamic, experienced and suitably qualified educator to join our Technology and Enterprise learning area.
The successful applicant should have the ability to teach the General courses: Food Science and Technology, Children, Family and Community and Design (Textiles). The ability to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Food Science and Technology, Certificate II in Community Services and/or additional subjects outside of Technologies would be highly regarded.
As a Home Economics teacher, you would contribute to a collaborative and innovative team, supporting curriculum planning and delivering engaging learning programs tailored to the needs of our senior students. You should model exemplary teaching practices and display a strong repertoire of instructional strategies to foster student success.
Ideally, we are seeking applicants who:
- Have experience teaching the relevant courses and ideally hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Possess a deep understanding of the senior secondary Western Australian Curriculum.
- Are reflective practitioners with strong data literacy and the ability to adapt teaching to meet student needs.
- Display professional knowledge and a commitment to delivering a relevant and engaging Technologies curriculum.
- Are enthusiastic team players who contribute positively to a dynamic learning environment.
