Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Creative Agency Lead to manage one of our in-house creative teams, consisting of diverse, multidisciplinary professionals..

The Creative Agency plays a pivotal role in creating a variety of marketing materials to support the needs of our PC, console, and mobile games. Working alongside the Creative Agency Director, the Creative Agency Lead will establish and uphold a compelling creative vision across a wide range of marketing projects, including user acquisition ads, social media campaigns, brand partnerships, and in-game integrations.

This role involves managing a team of artists and ensuring all creative outputs meet the highest standards of quality.

Collaboration with key stakeholders, such as the Creative Agency Regional Director, Production Coordinator, Product Marketing Leads, and various disciplines within the studio, will be essential to success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

The Creative Agency Lead position is a dynamic blend of two key roles below. By integrating these two roles, this position ensures that all projects achieve both high creative standards and efficient production workflows.

- An inspiring creative lead who guides and manages the team with innovative ideas, ensuring the highest standards of quality across all marketing and user acquisition creatives.
- A strategic producer who anticipates challenges, manages priorities effectively, meets deadlines consistently, and keeps assets production running smoothly.

Team Management and Leadership:

- Lead, motivate, and mentor the Creative Agency Team, fostering a collaborative environment where artists (2D, Capture, Motion, Video, etc.) are empowered to deliver high-quality Marketing and User Acquisition assets across multiple platforms and that make Gameloft games succeed.
- Act as the bridge between internal Marketing and UA stakeholders and the Creative Agency Team’s artists, facilitating production kick-off until final delivery, feedback exchange, and alignment on asset needs.
- Organize regular team meetings to promote effective communication and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Hold one-on-one meetings with the artists to evaluate performance, morale, and address technical needs.
- Ensure that all necessary tools, training materials, and technical documentation are available and kept up to date for the artists.
- Take care of team members' morale, motivation, and working behavior in order to get them fully committed to the project and drive them to their best performance.
- Manage the recruitment of new artists and oversee the onboarding process for new team members joining the Creative Agency.

Collaboration, Resources Allocation and Reporting:

- Plan and prioritize multiple creative projects, allocating resources effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Organize workflows, manage the creative pipeline, and adjust strategies to meet evolving project needs and deadlines.
- Track team productivity and compile detailed reports to inform stakeholders and improve operational efficiency.

Creative Direction and Strategy:

- Partner with stakeholders, including marketing, production, and licensing teams, to establish and maintain a strong creative vision for marketing campaigns, user acquisition ads, social media content, brand partnerships, and in-game integrations.
- Organize, participate and lead creative meetings to generate innovative and ambitious creative concepts that could enhance the success of our games' marketing strategies.
- Engage proactively in the assets ideation and development process, including pitching ideas, crafting mockups or storyboards, and refining messages for ads and trailers;
- Ensure smooth production workflows, foster efficient team collaboration, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding asset needs, marketing roadmaps, and related requirements.

Quality Control:

- Oversee the quality of all creative outputs produced by the Creative Agency Team, ensuring they meet the highest standards and align with the established game’s vision, art direction, and brand identity.
- Provide constructive feedback to the artists’ work, guiding them in refining assets to achieve exceptional results across user acquisition, social media, and other marketing initiatives.

Creative Innovation and Trend Awareness:

- Stay up to date with the latest trends in gaming, marketing, and creative design, applying new ideas and techniques to enhance the quality and effectiveness of marketing materials.
- Encourage the team to explore fresh ideas and innovative approaches, leveraging the latest trends in gaming, marketing, and design.
- Identify and implement solutions to optimize creative processes, tools, and workflows, addressing inefficiencies and driving long-term operational excellence.

- Drive innovation by improving creative ideas, workflows, tools, and processes to boost overall efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have:

- A minimum of 3 years in a Creative Lead role or Team Leader showcasing your leadership in audiovisual production, marketing or a related creative field
- A proven ability to drive projects from concept to completion, demonstrating both creative and operational excellence. This includes a deep understanding of creative production timelines and costs, ensuring efficient and cost-effective project delivery
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Strong experience in art direction
- A love of risk-taking, and openness to new ideas, visionary mindset
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Creativity and pragmatism in finding solutions that help overcome obstacles and advance the project
- Very good communication skills, communicates easily with colleagues and clients
- Ability to maintain perspective, manage priorities, supervise a great number of projects and topics
