CANVAS GOODS MAKER is required at Gotya Covered Seat Covers (Belle Trust) in Welshpool WA to custom make seat covers for a wide range of 4WDs for the Automotive Trade and Retail Sector. Working with a range of fabrics including waterproof canvas, foam-backed denim and our signature Seat Armour range.

The skill level required is a Trade Certificate or higher qualification or at least 3 years of relevant work experience. A further 2yrs of work experience is required once the skill level has been met.

Must have sound experience in production, both working with canvas and heavy fabrics, and working on heavy duty industrial sewing machines, e.g. automatic walking foot flat-bed machines, binding post machines, automatic cad cutting machine and pattern making.

KEY SKILLS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• High attention to detail

• Experience with CAD design is highly regarded

• Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 5:30 am - 1:30 pm

• Fully air-conditioned factory

• Position status: Full-time permanent

The full-time role attracts an hourly rate of $36.00 to $40.00 per hour, plus superannuation.
