Responsibilities

- As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, be a flexible, team-oriented professional ready to support centres and children wherever and whenever needed.

- Demonstrate commitment to safety and inclusivity to ensure enriching and responsive learning experiences for every child.

- Actively contribute to the education program in the room and with the centre team.

- Engage and supervise the children at all times.

- Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.

- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.

- Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.

- Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

About Goodstart Strathfieldsaye

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre is situated in the semi-rural suburb of Strathfieldsaye, about 7 kms from the Bendigo CBD, close to local schools and shops. Surrounding suburbs include Strathdale, Lake Eppalock, Junortoun, Axe Creek, Mosquito Creek and Axedale.

You'll need

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

- Current VIC Working with Children Check

- Willingness to travel between other local services and flexible availability between Monday to Friday, 6.30am – 6.30pm
