Responsibilities
  • As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, be a flexible, team-oriented professional ready to support centres and children wherever and whenever needed.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and inclusivity to ensure enriching and responsive learning experiences for every child.
  • Actively contribute to the education program in the room and with the centre team.
  • Engage and supervise the children at all times.
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
  • Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
About Goodstart Strathfieldsaye

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre is situated in the semi-rural suburb of Strathfieldsaye, about 7 kms from the Bendigo CBD, close to local schools and shops. Surrounding suburbs include Strathdale, Lake Eppalock, Junortoun, Axe Creek, Mosquito Creek and Axedale.

You'll need
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current VIC Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to travel between other local services and flexible availability between Monday to Friday, 6.30am – 6.30pm
