Position: Panel Beater & Vehicle Spray Painter

Full-time

R.A. & L.S. Steen Pty. Ltd. T/A Roger Steen Crash Repairs is a fully equipped workshop, with latest automotive collision repair technology. Our team of specialists can repair and restore your vehicle and have it looking as good as new.

We are currently seeking for permanent, full time Panel Beater & Vehicle Spray Painter to join our team.

Vehicle Spray Painter

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant must be able to perform the following duties with minimal supervision:

- Prepare vehicles for painting

- Colour match metallic and pearl finishes

- Paint vehicles to a high standard

- Buff and polish painted panels

- Monitor and maintain stock of paint and consumables

- Provide guidance and supervision to apprentices

Skills & Experience Required

- Trade-qualified Vehicle Spray Painter with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience

- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Key Responsibilities

- Perform all panel beating and body repair tasks to industry standards

- Repair, replace, and straighten body panels

- Conduct structural and cosmetic repairs using appropriate tools and equipment

- Dismantle and reassemble body components

- Work efficiently to meet workshop timeframes

Skills & Experience Required

- Trade-qualified Panel Beater with at least 5 years’ experience

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Experience with modern repair techniques and equipment

Salary Range

$76,515 to $85,000
