Adelaide, South Australia LCS Maintenance (SA) Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

The Role:

As the Sprayer Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient application of herbicides across a variety of urban, regional, and natural environments. You will:

  • Accurately identify plant species and apply targeted herbicide treatments to control invasive and unwanted vegetation safely and in line with environmental guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain spray rig vehicles and equipment including knapsack sprayer.
  • Mix and apply herbicides according to safety requirements.
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks and maintain accurate spray records.
  • Work within environmental and WHS guidelines.
  • Report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults promptly.
  • Liaise with supervisors and team leaders to ensure smooth client services.
  • This role may also provide general field-based labour as required.

About You:

  • Previous experience in operating and maintaining spray rig vehicles and equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in plant and weed identification effectively distinguishing native and invasive specifies.
  • Experience in mixing chemical solutions and herbicide application in diverse environments.
  • Hold a current Full Pest Management Technicians Licence, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • A strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork.
  • A professional, courteous attitude when dealing with clients and the public.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to tasks and working with others.
