About the role
Build a career within a fun and positive workplace in this Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship based in Albury, NSW.
Working a full-time roster, the successful 1st or 2nd year applicant will complete a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, while gaining hands on experience within commercial, residential and decorative finishings.
You will travel to different job sites across Albury, Wodonga and surrounding suburbs and you will be exposed to projects which include working in Government buildings, aged care facilities and new residential homes.
What you will be doing
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Mixing of paints and matching colors accurately
- Use painting equipment to apply different types of paint finishes
- How to create special effects with paint and finishes
- Gain practical experience in the safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Complete other tasks as directed.
