Practice Partner Role
Help shape the future of early learning. Join Goodstart Early Learning as a Practice Partner supporting NSW North.
Your Impact
- Provide timely, high‑quality coaching and advice to educators, building confidence and capability in teaching and learning practices.
- Partner with selected centres to support their Quality Improvement Plans, helping teams translate goals into action through practical, on‑the‑ground support.
- Champion the consistent implementation of the QRS, NQS, EYLF and state‑specific frameworks, with a strong focus on high‑priority centres.
- Stay up to date with sector best practices, policies and regulatory requirements, bringing current knowledge to every interaction.
- Work collaboratively with the Teaching and Learning for All Children team and other internal specialists to co‑design and roll out strategic improvement initiatives.
- Support a strong culture of child safety, equity and inclusion through everyday work and leadership.
- Build trusted relationships with the Operations team to enhance safety and quality outcomes across the region.

You’ll bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from a recognised university
- Extensive and recent practice‑based early childhood teacher education experience (aged birth to 8 years)
- Strong understanding of the A&R process and the Exceeding Themes
- Experience in delivering high‑quality training to centre‑based teams
- Experience in supporting practice uplift with centre‑based teams
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State‑based approved/recognised learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard
- Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
- Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation and team leadership skills
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
